I'm also designing a range of typographic greetings cards at the moment, featuring some lovely Baroque and Art Nouveau patterned backgrounds.

As Free as a Bird

I've been working on a new print/card design today. Several colour combinations. Also deciding whether I like the the slightly flatter version better, or whether a bit of shadow is good... Take a look:




So, they're all blue-ish. The colour difference between the latter two is clearer on Photoshop, I think saving for web has limited the colour palette a bit - basically, it's petrol blue/yellow and emerald green/orange.

Came across a folder full of lovely Baroque patterns that I'd stored on my external hard-drive ageees ago. Thought I'd have a fiddle - those colours sure make me happy! :-)
